Brian 1.0 wrote on Feb 27th, 2009 12:42amThanks for the comment, but there isn't any tapping! I do a lot of stretches and that's probably what you thought was tapping.
I kinda like the beat but I understand why it might annoy people. Thanks for your input quote |
mogar wrote on Oct 20th, 2008 2:33pmI liked it a lot. Very nice playing. I really liked the chorus melody as well. I agree that you should put some drums behind this. Also, if you ever re-record this that is, perhaps use less gain for the rhythm parts. I say this because the palm mutes sound kind of mushy and I think that it'd help the song sound better if the guitars were a little more clear and pronounced. As a lead tone though, it works great. Keep it up. Would love to hear more from you.
PS - Thanks for the crit and glad that you liked mine!! quote |
StillSoundRG wrote on Oct 19th, 2008 2:51amI couldn't agree more with Donkey Fly, I'd love to hear the tone you hear captured professionally. There isn't a single timing flaw that's noticable. The rhythm is impeccable, the leads are very remeniscent of Sonata Arctica and moreso Avenged Sevenfold (I don't listen to much death metal other than like Six Feet Under so I can't say you sound like this band or that band, ya know)
It shows you know what the fuck you're doing with a guitar, lots of sweeps, I love it.
I dig it all man, good fucking job. quote |
Donkey Fly wrote on Oct 18th, 2008 11:14pmI liked your tone. Very nice thick distortion and it works for your lead tone as well. Nice playing too. Pretty tight. Couldn't really hear any timing issues. Nice lead phrasing and harmonies. Cool melodies throughout too.
You should put a drum track and some bass on this. quote |
