well my name is cris. im 16 but ppl say that i look 21 when i put my leather jacket on lol.im not a big fan of myspace but i go on there every now and then.i love guitar, when i play i can let my emotions out (something i cant do any other time lmao) and can just be happy playing and enjoying myself. i really hope i can learn theory because next year im taking ap theory at my high school with the little knowledge i know and am hoping to learn alot. my dream is to become a guitar instructor to teach anybody that wants to learn music.music is what life revolves around. think about it and you'll realize it too. i also want to learn to play other instruments too such as piano,violin,sax.
ive been playing guitar for about a year and a half and i tend to listen to many different types of music. itll range from jazz to metal and then to a little bit of pop and from there i really love old school rap. back in the time where they actually used to rhyme and not just talk about degrading woman and other stupid stuff.
Anyways, my favorite type of music i thrash. i love thrash till death. i go to shows pretty much every week. ill see black metal bands, punk bands, thrash bands, it varies but it will always be metal.
and my other favorite is neo-classical. People say it is usually just shred but they dont know jack.it has more emotion in it than most music ive ever heard. i fell in love with it once i started to listen to jason becker alot. and from there i started moving onto other guitarist such as paul gilbert,shawn lane,steve vai, etc. there are some really awesome thrash bands that incorporate neo-classical into thrash such as hexen, and coroner.i try to study classical music as much as i can. such as Paganini, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mozart, and a few more.i myself am not that great at shredding but ive only been playing for a year and 3 months lol.ill get there soon tho.
on my classical guitar i play alot,and i mean alot. i love the sound of it and hopefully i will get a new classical in the future. in my opinion i think that classical is one of the hardest type of music out there. to play it with the same feeling that the creator made it with is inspiring. i love listening to classical music. it sends a weird feeling through my body lmao.
im usually always out but if im home im either sleeping or on my computer or practicing my guitar playing. and if im on my comp ill be on ug
i am always listening to my 120 gb ipod outside the home.i cant live without it,it just sucks that only the right headphone works right now
