A few of my favorite bands are King Crimson, Death, Helloween, Mekong Delta, Dream Theater, Queensrяche (Not after Promised Land However I still somewhat like them somewhat), Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cheap Trick, Stratovarius, Rush (70's), Riot, Megadeth, King Diamond, Mastodon, Judas Priest, Gentle Giant, Atheist, Focus, Watchtower.
I guess that's enough to give you somewhat of an idea of my musical taste.
