Dude thank you so much for your advice. I have $400 saved up. but obviously dont want to part with it all for an amp. I'm looking to therefore spend around $200 for an amp. That's it.

Thanks mate, and yes Garageband is only for macs, but the recording software hardly effects the quality, you can use other programs like audacity or kristal, same thing, but I prefer Garageband because it looks more pro and it's easier to use.
