Moberly's certainly got charm, i'd much rather be here than any of the posh halls on campus, everyone's just so social and genuinely awesome here....
My name's Sam Mason, and i seem to be enjoying the quantum modules, but I know that we'll start on the maths behind it eventually, and that makes me a little scared (that sentence sounded like an Alcoholics Anonymous introduction speech)
I'm off to the Firehouse tonight for a cheeky bottle of wine, and to watch some live jazz funk stuff, but I havent planned to go to any gigs yet, anything worth seeing soon?
Had pasta cooked in the kettle the other night, seemed to be fine until my next cup of tea, which tasted a little odd....also, you can fry eggs in sandwich toasters I discovered!

Fraid i didnt sign up to Xpression FM, I'd signed up to several things by that point, and realised i didnt have time for any of them with the ridiculous Physics timetable...
Radio telescope eh? sounds pretty damn awesome if you ask me
I've been going out a fair amount....I was down for music week just before fresher's and got a little accqainted with a few haunts about....like the Cavern, which is pretty awesome...
Gotta be said though, the Old Firehouse seems to be my favourite haunt at the moment, but i've also done all the obligatory club nights, but theyve all blended into one cheese filled night
The principles being explained in Physics dont seem too challenging yet (apart from the mind-melting lectures by Roy) but there seems to be a fair amount of time-consuming stuff like IT work and labwork

Whoops, late reply, but cheers for the heads up, i'll definitely have to have a look at the stand at the Fresher's fair, the campus radio sounds like it'd be good fun to get involved in.
I notice you're doing Physics....geeks unite! I managed to blag an offer of 3 C's, so that should be manageable (considering i needed something like another 5 marks out of 200, plus a retake to get a C in Physics)
I've heard that the clubbing scene in Exeter is pretty SWEET, is this true?
