dude, wtf have you been doing, the last time i looked at your profile you had like 7 pedals. you know, you can't cook up guitar pedals and shoot them in your veins, it might be time for a 12 step program.

installing a bigsby on a SG is easier than anything. get the surface mount one (B5) in whatever color you like (my friend did the black on his BFG and it looks cool, i did the standard nickel), take off the stopbar from your SG, lay the bigby on the SG, use your screwdriver. presto. take your time with it, maybe chalk a centerline to make sure, but i just eyeballed it and it turned out fine. i also replaced the tom bridge with a roller, but its unneccessary just helps with tuning stability and string life. cheers.

hmmm... what about the b50, any different? according to Bigsby's website, you can use the B5, 50, or 500. The only reason I ask is because it's cheaper :D. Also, does the bigsby come with the roller bridge or did you buy it seperately?

Hey man. Some time soon I am also gonna get an SG and want to put a Bigsby vibr. on it. When the time comes, would you mind explaining to me how to install it?

how much did you get for it? ive been thinking of thinning the herd, so to speak

Quite a bit.

I sold a Rhoads, an Explorer, a Valve Junior, a Peavey Studio Pro, an Ibanez RG321, an SG Supreme, a Mesa/Boogie Studio Pre-Amp, a Boss GT-8 and a Laney VH100R and a 4x12 cabinet.

Probably something like 2500 bucks. :p

ha, yeah, im geared up at this point. the last two years, and mainly the last one, and mainly the last 8 months or so, have been a crazy gear-spree. im getting out of the military this fall, so i had to get pretty much everythign i could ever want or need while i was getting pretty much free money. this gear buying rampage will come to a grinding halt very soon. if anything, the new valve senior was probably my last major purchase. and now it doesnt come out until september. grrrr....

Haha, I was like that at one point too. I'd just spend my pay checks on gear. So at one point I was like, 'This is too much' and I sold it all. :haha:

Hey there,
this is moco from germany!

I just read your impressions on the thunderverb 50 in the board. Thanks for your review and gratulations on the amazing amp!

Well, I'm planning to buy a big orange too (got the tiny terror so far).
But I'm not sure, which one to buy. Rockerverb or Thunderverb?
I think I'm going for thunderverb because of the attenuator.

Actually I want to set it up for a good clean channel and a good distortion (no metal sound needed). Though I'm not sure, if I should take the 50 or the 200 watt version... maybe you have played both and can tell me what sounds best?

Thanks for your time and answer mate!
