Shogun sounds nothing like Metallica. The only similarity, soundwise, between the bands is that theyre both thrash. The rhythm guitars have similar tones, but thats it. Lead guitar, bass, drums, vocals, all have different tones, different levels and are played entirely differently.
I'm sorry, but if you think that songs sounding vaguely similar because of the genre they belong in constitutes sounding similar enough to draw comparisons, you have bigger issues than getting upset when someone doesn't agree with you. Unless of course you can prove that metallica and trivium sound similar, which you won't be able to because they don't.
