We got through again for this round but only by a hair we think, unless we're just being overcritical. Plus some year 11 guy f*cked up the song as we got to the verse by turning up the vocals, causing massive feedback . Huge feedback in small room = Big headache. But we pulled through the chorus.

Current mood: accomplished
Well, some you guys at #bass maybe have remembered me telling you about our band's little dispute on Friday. We finally managed to get a chance to practice the song, Supermassive Black Hole before the audition itself, but acoustically(on an electric bass ) with the singer. But, after playing it through twice we all felt much more confident(oh by the way, 'all' refers to me, the singer and the guitarist(captain_man07), seeing as our drummer couldn't make it. He's getting unreliable so we're probably gonna try to find another one).
Anyways, the audition! It owned! We owned! We gave it our best, and despite a few minor slip ups(lol at singer thinking it was end of song after 2nd chorus ). Bass was a bit too loud/quiet at times but meh, it pulled through. They haven't told us if we're through yet, I'll tell you guys tomorrow. Wish us luck!
Well, I was gonna do my first blog after I got my presents but I'm extremely bored Will probably be short but whatever. Happy Christmas to all who read this, and those who don't lol. This year's been pretty awesome; I picked up a bass and been playing for 2 months now. Thanks to all who have helped me with learning how to work my way around the fretboard etc
Next year is gonna be annoying though, AS's are starting full-on now with three exams in January; Computing[Programming and Network Concepts], Core Maths[C1] and Business["People In Business"/"Operations Management" - Applied to G&N Ltd Case Study]. Wish me luck!
