I have seen you entered "Wir sind Helden" as one of your favourite bands! Is this german band in South America famous too? I`m really amazed... I couldn´t imagine that `Wir sind Helden` is known in South America. Although I thought the band is just famous in german speaking countries... Sorry for my bad english... Greetz from Austria quote |

FacingUsAll wrote on Jun 11th, 2008 3:42pmI have both Paramore albums and they are pretty good.
I saw them with JEW at Northern Illinois University a few months back and they were awesome live, but it's just kind of odd singing and dancing to their songs in concert since I was surrounded by a bunch of screaming little girls. :haha
Did I tell you that Zach gave me his sticks *again*? It's the second time he's come up to me after their last song, pointed at me, and said "Here, take these." I love Zach. quote |

odysseus160 wrote on Nov 30th, 2007 3:46amHi,
I was browsing Ultimate-Guitar.com and I stumbled on your chords to "Fading Like a Flower" by Roxette. Good job!
I have one minor comment. The key signature, i.e. the key that the song is in, determines the chord names. For example, the verses of "Fading Like a Flower" are in Dm. Therefore, chords in the sequence should be named to the tones in the Dm scale, which has the signature of one flat. The correct sequence of the first line in the intro is not F, A#, Dm, and C, but F, Bb, Dm, and C. No place for sharps here.
The chorus is in the key of F, but F has also one flat, being the relative major of Dm, so you write Bb instead of A# here too. Of course, A# and Bb are identical for all practical purposes, but that's the convention and it helps while practicing the song if you know your scales. In addition, Bb is the subdominant chord to F major and thus used frequently in that key. So it's best to keep with standard practice in naming.
