I'd consider myself a mediocre bassist as I've been playing for almost two years. I've been self-taught for the greater part of it and my sloppy playing style only shows it. I'm good enough to stay in the pocket or solo like crazy, but I can't seem to find out how to do anything in between. Still working on finding new recording stuff because my mic broke... =/
Though I do play bass as a hobby, I also love a good religious debate, really only because it gives me an excuse to show off how much I know and I get a strange feeling of accomplishment when I see that I've "pwned" someone.
