"Intro"
This started about a week ago when a bunch of guys organizing a rock fest in one of our local universities asked my rhythm guitarist to play live at the first day (Rock N Roll day)
I thenm went there and they met me like I was Metallica who was being asked to come and play live for free!
I accepted and started to pick up songs...after some days we finally started the practicings.. .the band was new and I only played with them once about a month ago.. Bt loads of stuff changed since than
The drummer was a metalboy and refused to play rock n roll
So I threw my rhythm guitarist (not that much good player) to the drummer's chair (in my pleasure)
We played that day.. Hmm the vocalist is a bit emo-ish (duh!?) and his voice is more like an alternative-ish or I dono
So I was going to play guitar and sing at the same time… with him backvocaling me
So we played a day and it was not bad hmm the band was like Guitarist/vocalist, vocalist, drummer and bass
The other day Mike (Vocalist) said he has invited a fellow guitarist and I was like "ok we ma see"
That guy was a cool guy… our styles matched and I was like "ya ma gig with us man"
Heh after awful two days practices from 9 or 10 am till 10pm we managed to learn 5 songs fully (we had more bt these were not going to be played cause of some reasons)
"The Day"
The day had came (yeah we had onl;y two days of practices) and hmm from the very beginning of our performace I had probs.. .the sound was not coming out of my amkp.. I asked to change the cable… after a terrible approach to Hard Days Night (my vocals were awful cause mic was not picking my voice… we started the Cocaine's intro but my cable died and I had it changed again! Heh the cocaine and the following Love Like A Man were ok… (I cancled the love me do cause I felt that the drummer and vocalist (both n00b ish) are worried and wont be able stop in the rests during the songs and so….
Yea h than we had to play a rock n roll song (freestyle-ish stuff) improvising with only 2 verses and loads of solos…
We played the intro and I was on the middle of my verse when suddenly guitar amps' power went of…
Damn! But I didn loose my self, like a hero I sang the verse till the end (ooh went on like Book author  ) hehe I sang it till the end as the drums and bass were going on yet… and started waving the drummer with my hand telling him to go on!... With the other hand I was showing like "WTF?? Aint my fault hahahaha!!" and after I finished the verse I took of my harmonica! Started playing it into the mic and solo'd up about 4 or 5 minutes…
After, some gals came and everybody waslike not bad ya know! And I was like hmm didn’t u notice that the amps died in the middle of the song?! And they were like "lol, what??! They did?!?"
Anyw2ayz ima find the first and the second girls.. Haha and well I dono yet
Hehe than we went out and I was laughin all the day like "this was my worst gig ever bt it was funny"
