The elusive nebula comes together As a fog condensing to life The fiery pressure, ever stronger Gives birth to a glorious light
The vernal star gathers heavenly bodies A galaxy slowly aligns Graceful orbits, in unison, silently Callow in the eyes of time
The seasoned moons take on craters Atmospheres change and age Our radiant beacon, how glory awaits her The solar system a massive parade
She's inured in the heavens, a fixation of wonder Settling as aeons go by Weathered lucent testament, shines like no other Sits divine in her children's skies
Clouds diverting light , shines oft obscured Several planets glacial and complex Ever-shorter on sand as the hourglass pours Awaiting what shall occur next
Tumultuous times, planets collide Battered are the moons, far past birth Bodies consumed, the forbearer violently cries Her core surging towards enormous growth
In a screaming end, she shines with sheer consummate light A glorious passing, flaring through all neighboring night Words cannot explain the immaculate sight, For when a star dies, never does it burn more bright
I submitted this one to a school literary magazine. Hopefully I have some luck with it ^_^ and it gets published!
