Hey dude you asked me how to do ska basslines. Well If the guitar is up stroking say a G chord. I like to play up and down a G power chord on bass. Play the root note G and then play the next note of the chord wich is D and then play the third note wich is G an octave higher, and keep going up and down. You can change the order and stuff to make it sound better. You can also go up the whole G bar chord on bass. The same goes for every chord. You can listen to some of my ska songs in my profile to hear what I mean. Hope that helped you, but it probably didn't. On a sidenote I see you like Streetlight Manifesto.
