It'd be pushing it at 24/96. But it's not about the bandwidth, I'd be worried about issues with latency.
And it is NOT a D.I. box. It's an audio interface, which has inputs for guitar with roughly the right impedance. It's in fact, VERY different to a D.I. box.

It IS shit though. It has shit D/A and A/D convertors, shit preamps, shit everything to be honest. It's better than a line in, but in all honesty not by much. It's USB 1.1 too, what the fuck is that about?
