Why We Can't cure Cancer

Current mood: Lost In Thought

was in my bathroom, thinking about stuff and I started thinking about Cancer, and how we could come up with a cure for it. Immediately once I thought 'Cure' I knew the answer. You can't cure Cancer. Cancer is an abnormality of the shape, replication, and function of a certain type of cell. Now, we all get these cells believe it or not at least once in our lifetimes, but our body is able to destroy these abnormal cells on our own. Now what makes these abnormal cells develop into cancer is when the body does not 'notice' the presence of these cells and the cells then reproduce abnormally(By the matters of Spider veins, malignancies, etc.).

Why does this mean we cannot find a cure for cancer? You cannot cure abnormal cells, you can kill them but you cannot cure them. But the thing about Cells in general, is that only one cell is needed in order to reproduce. Unless you remove every last cell the cancer will continue to survive, and with Spider veins especially, which act like , it is almost impossible to have a tumor removed and come out alive. The only way to make sure a tumor dies is if all the tissue around it dies because tumors feed off of your body's tissue. Technically, the only way to be cured of cancer is to die.

(P.S. A common misconception is that cancer kills you by itself, which it doesn't. It kills you by obstructing something needed to survive. So If you have cancer you won't die unless it goes nearby to something important.)

Now can anyone come up with a reason why this is not true, Or find an error with my logic?
(Do not comment on an error with my logic involving the P.S.)
