Basically as I've said in my about me, My name is Caleb Mooney, I've been playing guitar since sometime in the summer of 2006, and I was inspried to play by John Mayer, after hearing his song "Clarity" on the radio, when I looked him up I listened to his whole Continuum album, and something happened, I fell in love with the blues. That's when I was inspired by him. I instantly went and told my dad I wanted to play guitar, but instead I said "Bass" because I thought bass would be easier (No offense to any bassists out there), and teach me some of the basic things I need to know about guitars, well after a while, we had to go to Tulsa, Oklahoma because my brother had a baseball game to go to. So while we were there I went through the phone books, and looked up some music shops and found "Firey Bros Music" which is where I went and bought my first bass which was an Ibanez GSR200. it was nice, they also game me a free Randall RB30XM bass amp and headphones and a Digitech BP50 pedal, and I couldn't have been happier, and then christmas of 2006 I got my first guitar, a Fender Koa Wood body Telecaster, which I regret not getting an acoustic to start out with but I love that fender to this day. Later on in the year, me and my girlfriend went to the Guitar show in Dallas, and thats where I got my Fender Deluxe amp. Later, for my birthday in August, I got a Guild GAD-30 Acoustic guitar which I'm using now to make solo songs, though I'm not quite the best at writing songs, sadly
I have more instruments than just that, and more amps, (Including an Esteban sadly, my dad actually fell for that sneaky bastard's commercial)
but I'm gonna stop talking about my music right now and talk about me I guess
In my spare time I like to read books, my favorite author is Chuck Klosterman. I am a very nice person to get along with, I find that I do have interesting conversation, as long as you don't say the wrong thing to me. I am a proud atheist, and I have reason for my belief, other than that I love politics and wish I was just old enough to vote, (And avoid Jury duty) but other than that, my life revolves around music... Oh and my beautiful Girlfriend Jessica, she can be part of my world too. She actually gets jealous of my guitars seeing as I play them so much, but she just kind of gave up on trying to stop me from playing and make me focus on her, so I love her
