Final NFL Mock Draft

Here is my final mock draft.

*CAD Pick, Detroit:  This is my first CAD pick. Stafford is somewhat risky as a first overall and the people in Detroit apparently are not sold on him 100%. Take Jason Smith (OT) Baylor as the solid safe pick who will be there for a decade.

St.Louis: I will say Eugene Monroe (OT) Virginia goes here to keep Bulger from getting killed and to help open holes for Jackson.

*CAD Pick, Kansas City: The receiving corp and linebackers seems to be weakest areas. Signing Thomas and picking up Vrabel are band-aids that will allow them to tutor and help the backers on the team already. They have two young olineman with potential and signed Goff recently as an experienced vet to help teach like Vrabel. Take Crabtree (WR) Texas Tech to give Cassell tools to work with.

Seattle: The defence needs some help, but the wide receivers should be better with last years injuries behind them and addition of Houz. Hassleback is getting old and has one or two good years left. Take Stafford (QB) Georgia.

Cleveland: Secondary was horrible last year, but trading Winslow and cutting Jurevicius, and Stallworth going to the big house put a questionable receiving corp in deep doodoo. They grab Maclin (WR) Mizzou

Cinci: With Palmer healthy, Chad and Coles manning the receiver spots, and Benson playing decently last year, the Bengles take Michael Oher (OT) Mississippi

*CAD Pick, Oakland: Al Davis will actually do what is needed, with some imput from Gable about the value of a good Oline, and partly due to his wanted receivers are gone. Andre Smith (OT) Bama

Jax: Have a major problem at wide out but the two best ones are gone so take Percy Harvin (WR) Florida

Green Bay: Not sure, D was suspect so take Everette Brown (DE/LB) Florida State for his flexibility in the Packers new 3-4 set up.

San Fran: Not really sure; they will take Sanchez (QB) USC to develop for future

Buffalo: They need help on D and will drool at Curry having fallen to them. Aaron Curry (LB) Wake Forest

Denver: Defense, defense, and more defense. They take B.J. Raji (DE) BC

Washington: Since they got fat Albert, now get a linebacker with Rey Maualuga (LB) USC

New Orleans: Even though they signed Greer more help would be good for a generally weak team secondary. Chris Jenkins (CB) Ohio State.

Houston: Need D and this is likely best player on the board: Orakpo (LB/DE) Texas falls here.

San Diego: No brainer here. LT is getting older and the rest of the team is pretty solid: take Knowshon Moreno (RB) Georgia for speed and his hands.

NY Jets: With Coles gone and Schwartz helping the D via free agency they take Darius Heyward-Bey (WR) Maryland.

Denver: Takes a linebacker. I was going to say take Brian Cushing but he failed the steroids test at the combine so its Aaron Maybin (DE/LB) Penn State for Nolan's 3-4 scheme.

Tampa: They need to address the aging front 7. Take Tyson Jackson (DE) LSU.

Detroit: Where to start as they still have tonnes of needs. They need to stuff the run to improve the D so they take Peria Jerry (DT) Mississippi.

* CAD pick, Philly: The receiving corp is competent, the D semi-stable, and Westbrook is getting old, so take Donald Brown (RB) Connecticut.  Brown is a better fit then Wells here.

* CAD pick, Minne: They need a wide receiver upgrade but they need to improve the secondary even more. Vontae Davis (CB) Illinios

New England:  Having addressed the secondary via free agency I look for the Pats to address the aging linebacking corp. with Larry English (LB) Northern Illinois.

Atlanta: I was going to CAD this and pick a receiver but the Falcs need to take a defender to replace Brooking and Boley, so take James Lauranitiis (LB) Ohio State

Miami: Need a receiver and will take Hakeem Nicks (WR) North Carolina

Balt: Need tools for Flacco so take Kenny Britt (WR) Rutgers.

Indy: Need to upgrade D and to free up Freeney, they take Robert Ayers (DE) Tenne.

Buffalo: Need to improve D more and take Evander Hood (DE) Missouri.

NYGiants: Need big play receiver, will take the next best thing in Brandon Pettigrew (TE) Okla State.

Tenne: With the best of the receivers and defenders gone they take the best available player with Darius Butler (CB) Conneticut.

Arizona: They reach for a long-term solution at running back and take Beanie Wells (RB) Ohio State.

Pitt: Need to solidify and plan for future of that Oline. Duke Robinson (OT) OU seems like a Tomlin kinda guy.

interesting picks, but I think BJ Raji would go to GB before Everette Brown because they dont have anyone to play nose tackle.

/\ Ya, I see your point about Everette Brown versus Raji but believe the variety of ways that Brown can be used might make him more attractive.
