Its pretty thumpy, and it's got this nice round sound to it, like a P bass with the treble rolled off but without being muddy at the same time. And while the pickup looks like an overgrown P-90, I haven't gotten around to taking the cover off to see whats inside. All in all, its not bad for a fretless some guy slapped together with scraps and wood glue.
