I've been playing guitar for six or seven years now. I started at about ten, then started having lessons at eleven. My first teacher didn't teach me much theory, but taught me to love my guitar and fueled a passion for the instrument. During that time I was quite into rock and metal. However my current tutor (of about four years) has got me into styles such as jazz and taught me the importance of theory. I guess I've developed a very well-rounded interest in different styles.
I guess most would probably describe me as a funk guitarist, as that's the main vibe of my current band. But my personal work is geared more toward blues, rock and all types of fusion. I like a bit of everything damnit!
