Hey there TPhantom here. Really just bored, so i'd just feel like talking. Hope anyone who reads this is having a good day! Yay for good days! Mine have been deep in the toilet lately.. so yay for those who are having an epic day! Been recently playing around with Capos on electric guitar, it's pretty unique. Music is all that really makes sense, and at the same time, does it really? I say yes, i also say no, i also enjoy a tall glass of Kool-aid on a crisp summer day....actually make that tea, or a nice Ale, either way. Well cheers to all the lovers out there, cheers to you all! Ugh ok so i have the first generation LG Chocolate right? i originally got my original one in september of 2007. Since then i have had FIVE of these *Donald Trump* phones because they decide to break for no reason at all. And now i'm going to get a sixth because this morning my phone decided it was just going to display a white screen and then for a split second go black then right back to white. I'm really *Queen Latifah* tired of this happening... and i was going to get a free upgrade in one week, just one week i wanted this piece of *Donald Trump* to survive and it didn't. Because it sucks. If you have a first generation chocolate i reccomend you switch phones. It REALLY SUCKS.

So my question is simple... IS it strange that i'm a completely clean musician???? No cigs, no weed or drugs, pretty much nothing. Ha i dunno i feel like if i ever do make it big something will go wrong when fans are like " Oh ya man!!! Metal Man!!! He doesn't smoke pot but damn that's metal man!!" Ha i'm i the only person who finds this amusing?!?
Ok so i've played for a long time, and i'm not big headed... but i do know what i'm doing, however there is one field i have little knowledge in and... that is the wah wah pedal. I'm a talkbox guy, always have been, recorded with it, done great things, but i've always wondered about wah pedals and in all honesty i have NEVER tried one I know, shocking right? So my question is for you, what wah would you recommend for harder, classic metal like music. I know Zakk Wylde uses one, but i've heard bad things about his model, so could someone recommend some models i should try, or what they think is best? \m/ O_O\m/ Thank you good sirs, and/or ladies
Hey there, well i do enjoy writing blogs so here is a new one. Far too often today do i hear people exclaiming things such as "Well (guitarist A) is definately the best player ever, and (guitarist B) totally sucks man!" This annoys me, i believe that it is all an opinion on technique, no professional musician (or really any for that matter) sucks, everyone has a different style and technique. For example, i am not an AC/DC fan, nor am i a fan of Angus' playing style, but i acknowledge that he is skilled and definately deserves respect. The same goes for many guitarists. Ha i dunno what the point of this was... but basically i guess i'm trying to say even if you don't like someones music, don't rip on them, it ain't nice people lol, and it is all an opinion of style. (not to say there isn't an aspect of skill but still)
If you didn't read my last blog i fell hard and fast for a girl, and let me tell you it didn't end well, i really did love her, and i still do... well she's dead. She's been dead for about a month... guess i'm just typing this out of self pity? I mean maybe i don't mind sharing, maybe i just want someone to read this, maybe i just want someone to know what i think... truth be told i don't even know what i think, but i don't know if i believe in love anymore, my advice to those who read this.... : Cherish every moment you have with your loved one... every second and every memory... because as i learned.. sometimes the memories come to an end... all you have to do is drown.
Well to start it off today is my birthday.. Anyway, i recent;y broke up with my girlfriend of almost two years, (she cheated.. multiple times.. even with a woman) and i pretty much gave up on love and what not. She was the first girl i ever told i loved (other than like my best friends and stuff) and blah blah *insert other mushy gush here* When we broke up i was in a funk, a major funk, but then three weeks ago TODAY i met a girl, Melissa. It's amazing, i've never felt this way, neither has she, i can't even describe how awesome it is. Hahaha (corny) my heart is racing even now typing this (end corny... kinda) and it's rushed, major rushed, but i heard through the grapevine she wants me to propose. In any other case with her i would, but i would like to finish college and have her fully moved in with me before i buy thie ring. We talked and we're doing just that. It cant even be described this feeling... i'd go on, but i'm sure IF you are reading this, you're already fed up haha. So that is a look into the life of Tipton Phantom
Sorry for the bit of an enigmatic title. Basically i have noticed that as these games like Guitar Hero, or Rockband, or... Boyband or whatever the hell they're called come out, more and more kids get into music. I just watched a concert a few ago of 14 or 15 year old kids, and every song they did was apparantly on one of these games. I suppose in a way it's a good thing, but it bugs me for some reason. The fact that after playing these they just sudden;y want to be musicians... it's very odd. I don't know why it irks me so. Ah well. ROCK ON!!
