Life's rather ok, I guess. Congrats on your girlfriend, by the way.
My one true love now intensely hates me. <img src="http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/i/smilies/ smile.gif" alt=" " align="absmiddle"> |

Oh, that's pretty awesome.
I suppose the day will come that I eventually stray away from UG. Hope that day doesn't come too soon though.
Meh, I got banned for a month. <img src="http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/i/smilies/ tongue.gif" alt=" " align="absmiddle"> |

Ah. Ah. Isn't perma ban like forever? Why a year?
But anyway. <img src="http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/i/smilies/ smile.gif" alt=" " align="absmiddle"> Good for you, mate. Will miss you. |
perma is forever but with good behavior and still the need to be on UG you can come back after about a year or something like that
and I talked to a friendly mod (camel_l) so who knows
but anyway...
I'm not a UG-addict anymore after 3 bans so... it's not that hard
But how are you?
haven't seen you for a while :O
actually...
still got a post-rate of 10-a-day or something? :P
cya later!

Yeah... I'm kinda sperma-banned
Well... 4th ban *into shame-mode*
and well...
for spamming... AGAIN!?!
but anyway... got my social life back
1 week without UG and immediately got a (nice ^^) girlfriend xD
And I can come back over about a year (maybe...)
cya laters,

It's a PC. I run Windows XP on it.
Basically, I plug my guitar cable into the adapter that allows me to plug it in as a 3.5mm jack into the line in jack. Then the monitor dies. But when I play my guitar, I can hear the sound on my speakers. |
That sounds like it might be a device conflict to me. Try opening your device manager to see.

It dies and I can't switch it on. Usually when it's working, the light around the monitor's power switch will be on. When it dies, the light just blinks.
But I can hear my guitar perfectly when I play it. Weird. |
Tell me exactly what you do to cause it to die. What kind of computer is it?

Connect to the line in then? Cool, thanks. My monitor dies for some reason when I do that though. |
What exactly happens when your monitor dies?

mfinnan101 wrote on Apr 23rd, 2008 6:42pmYou'll be able to record fine with a Realtek setup. I did for ages, it's just that the monitoring options are limited and it won't do for advanced MIDI work. but it will work, the only catch is you'll have to run the o/p of your interface through an amp before it reaches the computer. quote |
