So I got back from seeing Steve Vai in concert last night, and it was a fantasticly amazing show. My friend and I were 12 feet from the stage(roughly, probably less than that!). It was the greatest 4 hours I have ever stood through. And what could possibly make it better? It was the the show that Vai has chosen for the DvD release of the tour! There were quite a few cameras filming the show(several of which I was able to look into ), so I will probably end up on DvD as well! So not only did I get to attend the show of a music legend, but also be on tv. I was very excited to see Vai, and for my first Vai show I have to say that I was not disappointed at all. Steve and the band delivered everything I had hoped for in a concert(Building The Church, Tender Surrender and For The Love of God all sounded absolutely superb. Thank you Steve! ). I am glad to say I was a part of the crowd last night.
