I was reading an article recently that Slash of GN'R and Joe Perry of Aerosmith tested out the video game guitar hero. They both say they were crap at it.
I have had loads of trie but am crap as well.
Do you think real guitarists are crap but normal people are good?
THRASHER: Generally uses a black guitar with lots of skulls on it or something simalar. Wears lots of studded items and shirts with skulls on. Listens to heavy metal such as Slayer, Metallica, Megadeath, etc.
ROCKER: Uses a Gibson or Fender guitar. Normally found in jeans. Rocks out to hard rock such as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, etc.
BLUESMAN: A rare breed of guitarist that is dying out. Usually plays a semi acoustic or acoustic guitar. Likes blues and sometimes Jazz. Their heroes are people like Les Paul, Robert Johnson, and Chuck Berry.
CLASSICO: Alaways wears a suit and uses a nylon stringed guitar, and plays self composed classic rubbishy music.
FOLKIE: Alaways uses an acoustic guitar and can only play chords. Plays folk or singalong music and the poorer folkies go busking. They have one hero: Bob Dylan.
EMO/PUNKIE: Always wears converse and tight jeans and lots of checkered clothing. Plays nothing but power chords. You'll be lucky i you see one with short hair or without an ipod present. Likes modern rock and punk, such as Greenday, Sex Pistols, and The Killers.
and finally...
THE GUY WHO THINKS HE'S GOOD, but really isn't. Tries to become one of the above 6 types of guitarist and fails miserably. (although he is usually spoilt and given a good guitar, amp, etc.)
