Humans And Music

If your reading this then you probably know most of it, but ohwell.
I find it partuculary amusing that us as humans play these things called 'Musical Instruments'. We are the only species who construct objects made form man made and/or natural materials specifically to 'play' music to one another. The fact that we can generate such melodies as entertainment or to send a message is a great feat for Earths history, to me.

Some human are more skilled than others, and this comes with hours and hours of doing the same thing over and over again, often for many years at a time.
Also the fact that some of us are so good at that we are known world wide to millions is quite an achievement too. Funny thing is that as ancient music is, its only in the past 400 years or so that its become such a big part for many of our lives. In ancient times music could only be heard if someone played it directly to an audience, and often people used to gather around and enjoy the melody of a harp, loot, or even some kind of horn.

Although it is similar nowdays, music can be heard anywhere anytime really.
Money, however conflicts with music in a lot of ways. Many artists (I wont name names) are puerely in it because they're just good looking, and need money. People often forget about the people who write the songs, be it on computer synths and djs, or on paper.

Although I know not what it was like in the year 918, Im sure people didnt make music so they could shake thier asses and generate mass amounts of sex appeal. As enjoyable as your favorite genre is now, it did come from the old times.
It has evolved so much.
What it holds in store for the furture, god only knows.
