i didn't write those lines... i wish i had, but i haven't.
they are infact the lyrics to 'the beginning of a twist - the futureheads'
and despite the fact i love that song, i thought it had some relavence to how i'm feeling right now.
which isn't bad, i'm comfortable, i have nothing serious to complain about, no serious illnesses, no deformities nor friends and family in such situations.
Things change, we've all figured that out, WE change, for better or for worse.. we still change. You can't stop it, its how it works, how it goes. Granted if it wasn't for change we wouldn't really be much of anything, might not even be a race, could of died out just from not wearing enough clothes on our backs during the winter. So fair enough, change is one of the things that are ALWAYS mentioned in speeches. what would be the point of delivering them other wise? " more effcient energy, less poverty, cleaner water, stop to terrorism" isn't that what they say? Thats what they fight for. Our big world leaders. Isn't that what we want? we agree with them. Those changes would make the world 'better'. But think about it... what was the main cause we have those problems today? Change. Change in the past effected our future, change effected us, made us greedy, lazy even blind to noticeing what was going on around us.
You can't just blame one person, one generation, one race or even one sex for whatever problem your facing which originated from change. As it might just well be that your the one who changed first. The only way your going to get over it is to accept it, give in to it, take a chance on it, CHANGE it! Your decision outlines who you are, it effects how people perceive you, it covers how you feel. We thrive on change, we cry over change, we regret change, we appreciate change. We wouldn't be anywhere with out change.
But sometimes its not fair, actually most of the time its not fair! Things change and its amazing, you don't ever want it to differ. But the only certain thing is that after a set amount of time, guess what, it changes.
So i further this no more. My only solution is to enjoy every second as it comes, as you never know whats around the corner, lying in the depths of the cracks to suprise you, waiting to change things, waiting to change YOU, forever..
