Small live things? Not yet. Try recording a demo/mix tape, and giving it out around your school/community. Eventually, they'll get into circulation, at which point you can play some bigger gigs. Unless by "small live things" you mean, just, like, playing at a bar or club (we in Hali have the Pavillion. It's a place that encourages unsigned bands to play, and every once in a while there's a talent scout there. Try and find one where you live.)
