To name only a few (because there are so many). BLS and Nevermore are my top two, also very big on Gojira, Meshuggah, Necrophagist, and from there im sure you could guess the rest.
Favorite guitarists :
Zakk Wylde, Jeff Loomis (god amongst mortals), Paul Gilbert, Shawn Lane, Dimebag, the list really is endless.
Favorite bassists :
David Ellefson, Tom Araya, Nathan Hughes (solo singer/songwriter, of no relation:P), Billy Sheehan, and again, the list is endless.
Favorite books :
Oscar Wilde's works, Neil Gaiman's works, and recently, I just read Dave Mustain's book, very good read I must say.
Favorite tv :
Don't watch too much of that stuff lately sadly, being in uni and all has made me cheap, but I do enjoy a good comedy, or something obscure.
Favorite movies :
Rockstar (YEAH ZAKK WYLDE), Freddy Got Fingered, and many many more that I can't name without denting my keyboard.

Yo guys. Hughes here I'm a bassist in a tech-death band from Merthyr (not known for its metal scene I know). I've been playing bass for a bit now, but my main instrument (or at least the one I'm better at) is guitar but I've never had so much fin as when I pick up a bass surprisingly.
