Why is it always drummers that cause the issues? Our band went through 4 drummers without even playing a show. 1st one we could never get anything done... 2nd one we never even practiced with. 3rd one tried to take over the band with his Motley Cure. And the forth one.... well the forth one wasn't that good. So we settled with the first one.... eventually we played our first show were he was decent. He only screwed up a bit but he did do some really retarded shit that only a four year old would do... next show came, which was just a 1 song kinda thing, at first things were going fine then came my solo.... of course he has to screw that up. I don't even think this kid listens to the song! So we had another concert coming up and we were playing the same song plus a few. Like he hasn’t practiced since the last show (or the first time he heard the song, if he did hear it...) he screws up in the exact same place. I was ready for it this time. Just as he starts to screw up, I give him my "If you screw up, I'm gunna slit your throat and make you head bang"<===Kinda like that. Anyways... So for the summer he’s run off to B.C. saying he wouldn't be able to practice all summer. of course we get a new one (or the old one we had that couldn't play anything but can now) and hopefully we can record our demo track that we only have 3 days to make because (He comes back to Calgary on Sunday and leaving again on Wednesday...) this band competition needs it by July 11th.... We'll see how things go...
