Hello my name is George and I have been playing guitar for what seems to be awhile now.
I started when my Uncle finally gave me the push I needed. He told me to do acoustic. So I tried it and got hooked.. once I could play something. After that I started to play on my dad's acoustic. I did that for about a week but got bored, so I only learned 2 songs.
I finally made a commitment to playing guitar on Christmas day where I got my electric guitar. If my family was going to spend this much money on letting me play I had to repay them by learning. I started my real training Christmas day learning a bit from my cousin. After that I just learned on my own and now I'm doing pretty good for playing a little over a month from Christmas.
I hope to get really good one day, which is why I try to dedicate at least 3 hours of time to playing. I want to now go into the music business via a band and/or operate a recording studio. Those are my goals musically. Only time will tell how far I get.
