Well what can I say about me.... well I am 47 years old I have been married for 20 WONDERFUL years to the most beautiful and sweetest woman in the world. I Have one son who is 15 years old and quite a good guitarist in his own right I am a disabled pipe fitter/welder by profession because I almost starved to death in pursuit of my musical career I started playing bass at the age of 13 years old where a few of my neighborhood friends started a band where we practiced on a daily basis and almost drove my mom crazy learning how to play free bird and Rocky Mountain Way for a Junior High School talent contest which we won BTW that set our musical career in high gear we became very popular and was booked up by our school and the surrounding schools to play their sock hops
Later on i became involved in other cover band projects where we played in night clubs that covered four states.
I finally gave up on my pursuit of becoming a rock and roll god for the oppurtunity to make some really good money in the pipe fitting and welding craft where I traveled from state to state for many years but during that time I still was able to get gigs at night as a sound engineer in night clubs in the citys I was working in.
I got burned out on pipe fitting for a while where the oppurtunity to build Gibson guitars felll in my lap and then I heard of this new company in my home town called Warrior Instruments so I went to work for them a little while where I got burned out doing that so I went back to welding and fitting which is where the real money was to begin with but it is a rough trade so taking time off to do other things was a blessing ans a great experience.
before I became disabled I started my own business building dragster chassis and Junior dragsters although my business was successful my marriage was going by the wayside due to the long hours I had to put into my business in order for it to be a success however my marriage was far more inportant to me I sold the business to go back to a normal 40 hour per week job during this time I never lost my love for playing and producing music now most of my time is spent in the garage either playing a bass or building one.
I am also the head sound engineer for my Church and I have oppurtunitys to run sound for music festivals.
although the oppurtunity has risen to work in a few local nightclubs in town as a sound engineer I have chosen not to persue that because that is not who I am any more. I have chosen to folow Christ and his teachings and for me to work in a nightclub would bring about too many temptations but not only that would be a stumbling block for me as well as my friends and family .
so here I am sharing my knowledge and love for music with others here and on other forums.
so that is about it
