Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC. Not much 'modern' music.
Favorite guitarists :
John Frusciante and Jimi Hendrix! Everyone else seems to just take scales because the have a certain sound, and play notes simply because they are in that scale. Frusciante and Hendrix actually think about every single note they play, something we should all strive for.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, White Teeth
Favorite tv :
CSI:Miami (because it's so cheesy) and 24 (because... just because)
Favorite movies :
Godfather Trilogy, Tarantino's stuff, The Matrix, Tarzan, The Incredibles
As I write this (Monday, October 8, 2007) I have been playing for a year and a few weeks. I started out just like everyone seems to start: Horse With No Name. I also figured a song from the soundtrack to Once Upon a Time in Mexico (Pistoler - Juno Reactor) out, I was so proud then. Whenever I teach someone guitar I start out with those two songs.
I try to make some money doing freelance design and animation, while doing school and trying to finally get my bandmates together to jam, but for some reason they're either late or they don't show up at all - usually the latter, without even letting me know. Whatever, as long as we make music!
School by the way always has to find some way to fuck me in every single body opening (as a figure of speech... I hope) At least I'm completely fluent in English now. LOL
Oh and I hate 'internet words' like LOL OMG 1337 LMAO. I just LMAO when people use them in real conversation.
