Yeah, nothing special to add today really.. I played for 4½ hours, less than I was expecting but at least I practised for a few hours.
I'll try to make a video tomorrow, should have done it three days ago, but I didn't. >.< Then I will make a video on my 100th hour and then my 500th and then 1000th etc, to see if I've progressed (god forbid if I don't ).
School starts tomorrow, easter is over etc, hopefully I can get five hours of practise after school.
From time to time I get discouraged, very discouraged from watching other people play guitar like it's nobody's business, so I decided to do something with my situation. I decided to get better!!!
All hell will break loose, lock yourself in, smother your cat, kill your first born, eat your last meal.. Because Simon will partially start with Steve Vai's 30 hour workout (or the 10 hour one, we'll see )!
Hah, well.. I probably won't have the time to play 10 hours a day, but for now I'm thinking about only practising the technique ones (since I'm taking lessons, I'll get to the part where my teacher will teach me theory. ^^), so that will probably cut it back for an hour or two.
Uhm.. Yeah! Since the workouts exercises are a bit restricted, I'll incorporate my lessons and other exercises there as well, and even though it will be a modified 10/30 hour workout, it will still be the base for my practising.
Yep, that's pretty much it, it's starting tomorrow, and I'll be happy if I at least can play for 5 hours every day. Been playing for 3-4 hours/day this week, so hopefully there won't be any problem. It would be completely awesome if I could play for 7-8 hours though, or even 10!
I'll keep track in the blog, daily, weekly, monthly, we'll see, I guess I'm the only one reading anyway.
Yep, if there's even a single soul reading this; You are awesome!
Videos and such will also get up on YouTube, to see if I'm making any progress.
Bottom line is: I'm going to practise, a lot.
P.S: I know that I have to work on other stuff than just technique, but that comes too, take it easy.
