At long last. We have about 4 songs now (when two of them get 'finalised') leaving about 2 more until we record again. We've renamed ourselves 'Son of Man', if that dosen't change and we get our next demo done, I might make another website...
The band has hired their new singer: Enzo! He's a damn good clean vocalist and can scream when he needs to . So we just need to finalise our name and get writeing again, consider us a new band.
George did not take kindly to being given the boot, he did what I thought he would, "Not happening, you and I started this band, not them, they're out"
So we need another singer, Geroge wants someone who can sing and scream, good idea says me. Also... since Tash has the lyrics... I may be helping Geroge write new ones.. which houln't be too bad. A major pity about Tash though, he had a lot of good contacts around here... but he really wasn't healthy for this band, we didn't want to be another 'Cannible Corpse'...
Tash and Spikey wanted a new drummer, Laura, Liam and myself did not (and obviously George was against being fired)... Bud, the prospective replacment, said he'd be happy to fill in if things went South with George and would be happy to teach him some things to improve his drumming while he's there.
To Tash, this ment fire George and hire Bud.. Bud is not to keen on being a full-time member however....
Evidently, we are a dictatorship and our dictator dosen't think very well...
You may be looking at Adlet's last days the way things are going. We are all broke aside from Tash, who smokes his money. Spikey and I have had creative differences from day one, but we tried working around that, it hasn't been working. Laura dosen't really want to be here and only enjoys playing at a level astronomicaly above even Spikey. Bud dosen't want to be here and George will not be coming back after they way Tash treated him. Liam is next in line to be fired with this 'only the best' philosiphy that's been started, I'm next after him. I am not even in Spikey's league at guitar and Tash likes his licks and riffs better, I will have little say from here in...
Simpley put, I haven't put anything up as nothing's really happened. Now however; Sonic's out, Liam's on bass and Laura's on keys... Spikey is MIA, no-one's heard from him for weeks so we don't yet know where he stands for the band.
Leave Me to Die has been reworked slightly, Blow You Away's been re-writen entirely and The Suffereing's been worked on a little (just minor things to help with timing and such), however, we have no new material as yet due to the recent strife in the band; two member's splitting up (that nearly cause the band to split in two) and none of us haveng money. But we intend on haveing a 6 track demo released in the next 6 months or so (for either Roadrunner, we may have a contact, or Earache... I think it's Earache... whom Tash is working his charm on) and then we'll get some live tracks up on YouTube
It's been a while but we're back on track and ready to kick ass.
We decided to get the finger out and write something this week, I want to work on my riffs a bit and I have to write the solo, but I like the begginings of it. It's called 'Rage', it's again fast and lacking in rythem, but if Spikey leaves I'll just write an overdub and record over myself.
Our practise was on Sat this week as Sunday was full.
It's odd, we started out drinking and fucking around, but with an hour to go everyone (i.e. Tash, George and myself) just suddenly sat down and went "Can't be assed"
O_O Our band suffers from depressed phases... it ain't healthy for writeing music...
You wouldn't believe it, but we did nothing today. Everyone seemed to be mopeing over something, I tried writeing a new piece wih Tash, but no-one would co-operate except Spikey. Eventualy Tash lost heart and Spikey and I just jammed the rest of the session. He may have something for 'Leave Me to Die's' second guitar, but I'll give him the tabs so can run through and finalise it. That aside... we did jack-shit.
Oh yeah; we're now supposadley called Bunnies of Doom. *shrug* No idea if that's serious or not.
No practice this week (George injured his finger, which got infected and swole up his arm), but we've discussed changeing the long, boreing, riff-heavy verses in 'Blow You Away' and re-recording 'The Suffering' (later of course) as I just got bored fixing mistakes in it (what I should have done was ask for another recording altogether rather than cut and paste lol). Practise may be on this week if George's feelin' better, and after damage control's done we'll start on our fourth song (I've asked to use one of my lyrics for this one). Tash will be getting breathing lessons from a friend of mine as she feels his lungs may explode or he'll pass out during a gig. Secondly, there seems to be the feeling that Tash needs to sing clearer... we'll try that but if his voice gets less brutal I'll veto that idea. So, a lot to say for no practice
