Favorite bands :
I like Hendrix stuff, The Who, Buddy Guy, The Black Keys, John Mayer, B.B. King, Freddie King, and a little bit of Eric Clapton.
Right now I'm at around the late 60's in terms of music I like. If you know of a band that is similar to the stuff I've put down, let me know!
Favorite guitarists :
Most of the guys up there ^.
Guys like Paco De Lucia, Django Reinhardt, Joe Pass, Pat Metheny. I'm not hugely into their music, but I can dig their playing.
Favorite bassists :
Pino Paladino, The ox, Noel Redding, Victor Wooten and my bud who plays bass.
Short list, but my ears don't generally go that low >.
Favorite books :
I used to be a hardcore reader, but I skip out on it a lot now in favor of sleeping or reading magazines. In that vein, I like Guitar Player magazine, and Time magazine.
Favorite tv :
I get my news form the Daily Show and the Colbert Report, other than that I just watch a bald british guy put himself in traps and then get out of them.
Favorite movies :
I have pretty generic taste in movies, I like all the stuff people generally like.
But also, The Fountain and The Fall. These movies are visually stimulating, which is what I really like.
