Now i wouldnt be the best Ac/Dc fan id know the most famous songs and not much else but after seeing them on sunday i am going to have to listen to every single album, b-side and rare track because they are simply legendary.
They had two support acts, Thin Lizzy and The Answer but Thin Lizzy couldn't play because of the them broke a shoulder or something so we got the Blizzards instead. They put on a decent show but since we were expecting Thin Lizzy they were a complete let down. The Answer on the other hand blow me away, I hadn't really heard of them before and I have to say that they sound alot like led zep which is never a bad thing.
It was about 9-9.15 when AC/DC took to the stage and it was raining but i was at the barrier so I didn't give a fuck ha-ha. they played all the old favourites like Back in Black, Hells Bells, Thunderstruck, the Jack, Highway to Hell whole lotta Rosie, dog eat dog, shook me all night long dirty deeds and the list goes on and Rock n Roll train, Big jack, Black Ice and War machine from Black Ice
All in all it was worth the €76.50 i paid for my ticket and i recommend anyone who hasn't seen them who has the chance to see them to go because you will not regret it
Okay so I seen muse on Wednesday and it was my first real concert i seen Glas Vegas, Kasabian and Muse and I have to say I need to go to more live shows because I now know what I have been missing.
Glas Vegas are a solid band but they didn't get the crowd going at all and their lead singer looked like a poor Bono look alike, Kasabian really got the crowd fired up playing songs like Club Foot and LSF which got everyone jumping and ready for the main act, by the time Muse got on it was around 9 and it was getting dark so their lightshow really impressed me
they opened with map of the problematique which was so cool because i wasnt expecting that and they played dead star which was just epic chris and dom also played a longer more developed Osaka jam which just kicked ass, blackout was also on the set list and they had the two giant white spheres they had at wembley but it was pulled for some reason i didnt hear any explanation I'm guessing it was the weather which was poor at best.
All in all it was a brilliant gig and I have to go see them again very very soon
Been Playing guitar hero 3 for about a month and a half now and im finding it annoying playing it on hard because i bought the solus edition of the game because i didnt have enough for the full version anyway playing hard on a standard 360 controller is hard because the orange button is the a button and i always manage to forget that and hit the blue button by mistake
Finally got around to looking at a G3 DVD i borrowed off a friend and I was Amazed at Joe, Steve , Eric they are great musicians and should have far more recognition because they really do deserve it.
I'm finally going to expang my playing skills and take up playing bass. I have decided on a Stagg JB/PB hybrid and a Carlsbro bass bomber 120 watt amp once i get those my band Assassin will behitting the road and doing some gigs
