this is nothing like writing piano music backwards bro. have you ever read the renown Fretboard Logic book series? you should if not. scale charts are exactly like this. sometimes also written vertically. the fret numbers arent there either because you can play this scale shape ANYWHERE on the neck according to the root note which is labeled. putting fret numbers would only confine users. go to my site, you'll see. this is the correct way to write charts. and its not true that "most guitarists" find this unusual, only the mis-informed. guitarist on the right learning track always use these charts. learning scales from tabs is not always the best approach. now days, anyone can post BS info on the internet. ive seen all types of screwy charts. this is the correct way charts of the neck are suppose to be drawn. quote |
