You know that feeling you get when you take that very first sip of Diet Pepsi? Where you think, for a brief moment, that it MIGHT be somewhat good, but then you're left with a god-awful aftertaste? That's the kind of lasting impression I have on people.
I've somehow managed to convince myself that I can, in fact, play guitar (a feat which many of the psychologists I have visited find beyond impossible), and have made quite a few eardrums quite literally bleed (not in the good way) at such occasions as this October 2006 "talent" show:
I'm also a wholly unsuccessful solo artist. You may be familiar with my minor hit, "It's Never Sunny in the Basement," which most listeners disregarded as a song and mistook it for their radios severely malfunctioning. For the last few months, I've been working on a very ambitious quadruple-album composed of songs from different insects' points of view (i.e. "Why I Gotsta Get Squashed?", an upbeat bluegrass number, or the polka hit "Shed That Exterior!"), although recently the project was officially called off when many members of my family destroyed my recording mixer with all the songs saved on it in the middle of the night with lawn tools.
