Nice bass, friend.
*faints* |
Actually... That's just the bass I bought last year. The real beast won't be here for another month or so.

Your covers inspired me to go back and learn a bunch of my favorite jazz songs. Thanks!
By the way, your thread on the guitar/vibrator thing was awesome. What a great invention. I'm also glad that we agree on The Duke > Scott Joplin |

Thank you for closing that thread. It was heading in a bad direction.
Nice Karma Police cover, btw! Radiohead are one of my top favorite bands ^_^
Have you ever heard of a band called Nouvelle Vague? Your voice reminds me of their singer. You might want to check them out as they are badass. |
I haven't heard of them. I'll look it up. Thanks.

Just saw your new pic in the picture thread. Dressing up as pong was nothing short of brilliant. | Heh, thanks. The movement was fairly limited in them but it was worth it :P

rigiddigits wrote on Feb 16th, 2009 9:03pmThat kinda sucks, do you think there's anything you can do to get some fresh inspiration? Sometimes when I get the artist's equivalent of writer's block I go to an exhibition I've never been to before, and it gives me a creativity boost. Maybe try a similar thing with music?
I spent Valentine's Day with a lot of my friends and housemates, and the night with a friend whom I like very much at the moment. quote |

Already sold, and pretty painful. Now that is all past, and I am currently saving up money/becoming a social pariah in order to save up money to buy my new guitar. It will end up being less expensive than an American made strat but about 2000 times better and all made to my specifications.
I would still check out Warmoth, they sell the bodies and necks seperately and they have a showcase where they sell pre-made parts. I know they do 7-string guitars, but don't know about the basses. |
Well the bass is still all good. I will probably order it next month
It's the 8 string that's a no-go. If I'm gonna get it, I'll need someone in the US to buy it for me, inspect it and send it to me privately... That way I don't have to pay monstrous tax, I get the right instrument AND the buyer gets a little extra.... everyone wins!
I just haven't found anyone yet....

That sucks. Have you looked into any British or European instrument manufacturers? You might take a look into Warmoth guitars, they are American but I don't know if their warranty applies internationally. Its worth checking out.
That is where I shall be ordering my custom made strat. I haven't even ordered the damn thing yet and already the anticipation is killing me. |
Problem is, having it custom made will punch a hole in my wallet. We're talking 400% increase in price, if not more.
Oh? I thought you were selling your instruments these days?
