I'm going to Maine this weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). I'll be driving up. It's going to take me around 5 hours to get there. Hopefully I shall return!
You know, when I picture Maine, I think of reading Stephen King novels when I was younger. It's like his books always take place in the middle of nowhere in Maine- you know, the woods where houses are miles apart and no one can hear you scream?
Well, luckily I'll be with my fiance and we're visiting his mom, so I should be safe. But if I don't return, farewell UG and all of its contents...it was nice becoming acquainted with you! :tears:
I had a wonderful time. The ride there and back wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The 5 hours really went by fast. I stayed in New Sharon, ME on top of a mountain, in the middle of nowhere- literally. There is only one stop light in the whole town. Most of the roads have a speed limit similar to the highway...about 55 mph. There is a general store, a diner, plenty of barns and little shops. It was so peaceful and serene. I really needed a relaxing weekend. I feel great!
On Saturday March 21, 2009 I will be in a fashion show!
I am not going to be modeling but I will be part of the closing act. I am going to be a Zombie! We're reenacting Michael Jackson's "Thriller" at the end of the show. The coolest thing is that the artist who did the 25th Anniversary of "Thriller" will be doing my make-up!! Hopefully I'll get some good pictures to show you guys
I am sooooo excited! There's also and after party with free food and drinks- sweet!
It will be held at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Casion Resort in Connecticut. If you are interested in going, you can visit this site:
Ok so it's the next day and the show is over and done with!
We all had a lot of fun. It was a bit chaotic and un-organized at times, but in the end it all came together and was totally worth it. It was a 10 hr work day and I was in make-up for about 8 hours of it. I am exhausted!
I also had a chance to gamble at the casino and won $150! So I think in the end it was a great day.
I put together an album on MySpace if you would like to see the pictures. You can follow the link and add me as a friend to view them.
I had been shopping around for an ESP LTD EC-500 for quite some time. I finally found the gem on Ebay and committed to buy- and I am so happy I did! I've included some pictures in this blog and will update in my gear section as well.

Also, This weekend (Fri 5/8, Sat 5/9 and Sun 5/10) I will be in Las Vegas! I wrote a previous blog about it months ago...and I can't believe it's finally here. Amazing how time flies by huh?
I'm sure I will miss my new guitar (and of course my little fish Farfenkruger) dearly, but I know I'll have a blast. Wish me luck and I'll see you all next week!
I'll be turning 23 on Wednesday June 17th.
Most likely I will be celebrating the weekend following my day of birth. I was thinking, what should I do for my birthday? Does the UG community have any ideas for me? (realistic ones!)
Then I was thinking, gee if I could have a dream birthday celebration, what would I do....I'm still pondering but I'll let you know when I figure that out!
If you could have your dream birthday celebration, what would you do? Share!
I am quite excited to announce that after 9 months of waiting, I'm finally leaving the states this week and going on a much needed vacation! On Friday 8/14 I will be on a cruise boat headed down to visit the Bahamas, Half Moon Cay and Grand Turks Island. I will be coming back home the following Friday.
Unfortunately I do have to drive 7 hrs to the port and then back home, but I'm sure it will be worth it! I'm hoping that this year I will be able to find some neat instruments on the islands-we'll see what I come home with to show you guys.
Also, two weeks after I return I am getting married! There is so much going on! Wish me luck that I may return happy, healthy and with a nice tan
