About Sean0913
"My name is Sean, and I'm an alc...."

Wait, wrong forum.

*coughs*

Hi there, yeah I'm Sean and I'm:

A. A Guitar Teacher/Theory Guy/Mentor for Stuck Guitarists Worldwide
B. The guy who just called you out, or offended you in some way, in a post on Music Theory in Musicians Talk.
C. All the above

(choose one answer that applies to your situation)

After almost 4000 posts I have discovered a lot about most people here.

Most are kids that want free stuff and cannot afford me.

If you are young and cannot afford me, or just like free stuff (who doesn't?) don't lose hope. Read on.

I DO have some younger students, but most of them are old guys like me, that have played for years and finally decided that they wanted to understand, I mean, fully understand the guitar like they've wanted to all their lives, without quitting their jobs, and going to music college and paying thousands, losing their wives and families (because they have no job), and hooking up with a hot looking, younger girl with a piercing, who thinks that accomplished musicians are sexy and make her tingle in all the right places, and...wait, that doesn't sound too bad does it?

Anyways, I digress. The point is, that these old guys (with money) decided instead, not to lose their jobs and families and drop out of the workforce.

BUT they still thought "Hey, this Sean0913 seems to know what he's talking about, and he posts constantly in Musicians Talk, and it appears that usually his advice and answers are correct and explained clearly, so I think I'll check his site out."

So they clicked the link in my forum post sig, and off they were whisked to a magical wonderland, with fairy ponds and gumdrop trees, (in other words, my Guitar Theory Teaching Website). Now, I have a bunch of old guys like myself who are experiencing a spiritual rebirth and musical enlightenment, and trying to fit into their old spandex, much to their wives amusement. But... they are also now able to play the guitar better, and fully understand things that eluded them all their lives and their guitar dream "bucket list" has grown much smaller as one goal after another is checked off, having been fulfilled.

All kidding aside, most of my online students ARE mostly older guys (25-55) with jobs, that lurked around Musician Talk wanting to learn theory, and after seeing me a few hundred times and vising my site 10-15 times, took the plunge, became a student and have been there ever since...sort of like stray dogs, you might say.

Chances are though, you're not an old guy, but a teen with no money or job. You cut your musical teeth on TABs and free You Tube lessons, and through the magic of the internet and torrents, have come to love free stuff, and instead, only pay for things that you HAVE to, like a new amp or guitar or pedal thing. I understand, I've been in your shoes.

If you are not an older guy with money, and you can't afford lessons, don't give up, because, I DO offer a FREE Mentoring service.

Now many of you DO and can afford lessons with a guitar teacher, but he's this wizard guy who spends more time impressing you with what he knows, and when he shows you what you need to know, it feels like hes asking you to try and climb a wall thats been generously smeared with butter. Now, if you are paying or can afford private lessons, then rest assured, that you CAN afford me, because I charge far less for lessons than the average guy who you pay 80 a month or more to to watch him widdle and shred and then politely grease the walls and tell you to start climbing.

For the rest of you, if you don't know what a mentoring service is, it just means I help people for free, that are lost or stuck with questions...most of the time my answers are right...but sometimes I throw in wrong ones just to see if you are awake.

In all honestly, I'm a nice guy, and it's my passion to help people, even if you can't afford me.

So if you're lost, need help with a musical question, or need a good musical kick in the butt to start making progress again, it's my job to help get you unstuck and on your way again, rocking the free world. And, I've done this for hundreds of poor guys around the world (and elsewhere). All you need to do is send me a message here (please don't comment in the comments section; no one, including myself, ever reads those anyways).

And, if you ever DO become an old guy with money, and you want to follow a "no BS" pathway of fully becoming an enlightened guitar genius that understands music theory and the fretboard and likes the idea of being able to write killer songs and solos, and like, actually know what you're talking about...check out my Online Guitar School (Which specializes in teaching Music Theory for Guitarists as well as a way to just blaze the entire fretboard in ways never imagined, which is something that even old guys that grew up on 80s metal still want to be able to do) at <a
