About me, well I'm 18 years old and I'm currently spending a year doing practically nothing. Yes, that's right - a gap year
Didn't end up going traveling or anything cool like that though.. just took a break and hung around at home or with some mates. May have been wasting this year... ehhh oh well.
Next year I'll be taking a course in Film and Television. Should be fun. It's kind of the area I'm looking at going into in the future, something in the TV/film business. Not necessarily acting - I mean more like the behind the scenes stuff. Camerawork I'd like. Even eventually directing.
I guess as this is UG, I should do something about my guitar playing. Well, I've been playing I think pretty much exactly 3 years now. I'm decent I guess... nothing spectacular, but I can play. I'm in a band which.. isn't going too fantastically at the moment... everyone just seems to be too busy. I can only really do Tuesday and Thursday nights for band, and Tuesday was free for everyone else (they were usually busy other nights as well). But now the bassist has classes on Tuesday night, and the other guitarist is nearing the end of year 12 so he's getting all this pressure put on him to cut down on outside activities. Which is a bitch. So yeah, no idea wtf is going to happen with us. I'd do days, and I know a couple of others would, but not everyone can. Damn.
Sometime I'll start working on the 'My Guitar Skills' section of my profile, see what I can do there.
My most recent little fun toy I've acquired, is a graphics tablet. I've been using it to start drawing comics. I eventually hope to start my own series of webcomics, it's something I really want to do.
I'll probably end up posting some of my work up on my profile at some point.
