I read alot, but don't really have any favorites. I like Guitar Player magazines lol.
I've been playing guitar for about 4 years since I was 9, and since then it's pretty much been my pasion, my way of life. I started out listening to many classic rock bands such as the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, and Pink Floyd. I still love those bands (and always will) but in the past year I have focused hugely on shred. Vai, Satriani, Gilbert, etc.
My main influence, my guitar hero, is Steve Vai. I think he has an amazing ability to touch others with his music, and understands that there is more to the instrument than playing incredibly fast (even though he sure can). When improvising, I usually think "what would Vai do?".
My other intrests include art, photography, and pretty much anything artistic.
Feel free to comment on my song. Constructive critisism will only help me get better.
Oh, and heres my youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/mandsriley
Which famous guitarist are you?
Your Result: Jimmy Page
You are just one component of music. The spotlight is your home, but only if you've have your Jack Daniels for the day. Lay off the drugs and fourteen-year-olds. You have good talent, and you don't want to waste it by doing stupid stuff now.
