Bio:

Delicate acoustic guitar and soothing vocals - that is what Sam Dawson prides himself on to create his rich, raw sound.

It might not be what you’d expect from the Hull-born guitarist of punk rock band ‘In The Company Of Wolves’, but it's a sound that has enticed the ears of the city, and is slowly travelling across the surrounding area.

Dawson's inspiration for his solo project is hidden somewhere within the vast contemporary-folk genre, among the likes are City and Colour and Ben Howard. Yet his music is strangely unique, telling it's own story, each song having it's own meaning.

But their own meaning is really irrelevant, says the mind behind the music. 'I think all arts are open to interpretation. Half of the music is created by the musician, the other by the listener.'

'My Disease' is the eagerly anticipated debut EP from the singer-songwriter, due to be released in 2013.
