Written By Steven Watts Welcome to The Fallen From Heaven Productions Myspace Music page. After doing some rearranging of the site, I've decided to make it a band page rather than a label page. It will function a little bit as both. At present, my band still doesn't have a name. I've gone through various names only to find that they were either already taken or not good enough. I am the sole member of my band. I perform all instruments and vocals and write all lyrics and music. I am currently working on my first two demos which are going to be called "Deathstuck" and "Lustful Desires". They are going to be the basis for my first album which I'm calling "Acid Metal". The sound of my band is combination of early Death Metal and modern Black Metal, performed with the vocal style and aggression of Hardcore Punk and written in a lyrical style similar to early 90s Gangsta Rap. The guitars are heavily distorted using multiple pedals and amps and basslines are defintive, heavy, and distorted. The drumming style is based around Blast Beats and D-Beats with both the bass pedal and double bass pedal being featured prominently. The drum beats are arratic and the pattern in which they are played complex using a secound section of drums for added percussion. Instrumentation is minimalistic, repetitive, and based on simple riffs structured in a diverse pattern. In this capacity, each song uses one guitar and guitar solos, if used are dubbed over that one guitar. Instrumentals might also be electronically looped to create a repetitive sound. Tunning techniques such as Drop D and Drop C are also used. Guitar shredding techniques commonly used are: Tremolo picking(the one I use the most), Alternate picking, Sweep picking, String skipping, Palm Muting, Tapping and a couple of new ones I discovered myself. I also use the Pick slide for effect. Songs are written in the first person and are made up of anywhere from 1 to 6 verses at the most and use no choruses. Subject matter includes: Satanism, Death, Depression, Religion, Suicide, Sex, Murder, Anarchy, Social Issues, Necrophilia, Crime, Poverty and whatever else that maybe on my mind when I write. I should began recording in a couple of months. Things have gone slow with money and right now I don't have any equipment but that's going to change.
