i tried! gain was at 8, drive was at 7-8, treble was at like 7.

there's plenty of gain, it's just the mic positions, and more drastic tweaking probably. i'll try again...

i've had trouble finding the perfect tone on my vox, i had a marshall before which seemed more powerful, but that was my dads and he has moved out now.
I think i should look into buying a distortion pedal or something

I think if I was feeling particularly grumpy I'd have taken that the wrong way but I sort of know what you mean. My body's all in proportion, and most people don't realise I am more weighty at first. In photos at least. Thank you though :
