Favorite bands :
Heh, what a question... I'm into pretty much anything with a decent bassline: Funk, blues, rock, pop-punk, metal, bluegrass, country... Pretty much everything and anything even some rap/r&b as well its still music even if some of it is utter cack but other stuff can be rather good.
Favorite guitarists :
Well.. Paul Gilbert comes to mind as well as Petrucci, Vai, Satriani and plenty of others that amaze me.
Favorite bassists :
Billy Sheehan, Victor Wooten, Stu Hamm, Les Claypool, Chris from Muse (can't spell his last name), a few bassists from my local area which have blown me away with there amazingness. I'm also partial to some of the 'less' great bassists such as Flea, Cliff Burton and Mike Dirnt.
Favorite books :
Auto-biographies, A Clockword Orange by Anthony Burgess and various other things!
Favorite tv :
Lost (have an obsession :(), Top gear, Shameless, those british CSI type things that are like murder mysteries but always seem to be logical in the end no matter how far fetched they are, Futurama, Simpsons, Scrubs, Friends and some other American comedies.
Favorite movies :
Comedies, drama, action stuff, thrillers, documentaries (if they count), and pretty much everything else.
Well.. I'm Ryan a 17 year old college student who's having a interesting time doing his A levels!
I've been playing bass since Christmas '06 and loved it ever since I began, now I am haunted by the realms of wanting new and different equipment and wishing what bass I bought instead of my current one... But I've come to love that GSR its a real beauty!!
I'm in a band at the moment, we play pop-punk/indie stuff but I think we're moving more into the modern rock style of music and are sounding much like a band called 'funeral for a friend' suppose s'all good thought we hope to have an EP out by the end of the year and to be gigging all the time soon.
