So recently someone offered to co-transcribe with me.
Although this could be fun, I am more concerned about the overall accuracy of transcriptions. I have not seen much highly accurate tabs over the years and really, this would be my primary concern.
Another issue is it would slow me down. I usually transcribe a FULL song (depending on difficulty) in a day or two days. I wouldn't want to wait for someone else to give me a part I have already figured out.
In the end its not about who gets the "glory" of being author of a transcription or star ratings or how many people view the tabs. Its really principle of accuracy and I feel unless I can find someone with an amazing ear and common sense to the transcription process, the collaboration idea is just a dream at the moment
I wouldn't mind of course collaborating. However at the moment I am happy bringing you transcription work which will help players perform their favorite music to the most accurate degree possible that I can muster (Unless I go deaf suddenly!!! Argh!).
I am in the process of creating a full tab / sheet music for more Bjork songs. First of all working on: "Crystalline".
As usual, these will have ALL parts (to the limit of what MIDI can achieve), be tempo accurate (plays along side the original track in-time) and be playable on your guitar (or other instruments!).
Should take a couple of days depending on how much time I have.
I will update this blog when one of the tabs is ready!
The Tony Danza Tapdanza Extravaganza - THE UNION (
Hey all!
Uploaded the COMPLETE version of "The Union" by The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza.
This tab is "tempo accurate" - Which means if you play it side by side with the original track, they go in time with each other exactly (for the most part, its difficult to imitate human playing + recording of course!).
From date of this post the tab should be up in the next 2~3 days.
I am now finishing of "Yippie-Kay-Yay Motherfucker" and will move on to "I am Sammy Jankis".

How I work:
I tab using ONLY Guitar Pro 5. Reason for this being because of familiarity with the user interface and therefore the time it takes me to score the full song. Also the MIDI is more stable in GPro 5 than GPro 6.
I tab only the WHOLE song. I don't leave out any parts. If the musician makes a mistake on the recording, I tab it in. So if your wondering why for example the bassist or drummer drops a note, its because they did drop a note on the recording.
It takes me roughly 1~3 days to tab depending on song difficulty. However there are "special" cases were I get very dedicated because I absolutely love a song (For example like "The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza - 12.21.12" ...which took 7 hours from start to finish).
Most difficult work to date = PsyOpus - Insects
I currently do not do tab requests however I WILL do them very soon in the near future. However please hold on about this.
