To answer your question in the other thread:
I only used my starter pokemon the whole way. It's a little challenge I made up. I picked Charmander, because he has the toughest course through the whole game, and I like being challenged.
RULES:
You can use your starter pokemon for battle, but no others.
HM slaves are allowed, but no more than 3, and you can't fight with them.
You may evolve your starter pokemon.
If you pick Squirtle, you may only use one HM slave, because he is capable of using every HM you need to finish the game.
NO TMs. Moves must be learned by leveling up.
Try it sometime. |
