Reason? Probably pissed off some Bass-forum regular (which is rather fun, you should try it).
Should I be annoyed? No, I should know better than to post on the UG Bass forum by now (that place is teeming with mods and tossers, and I still have yet to tell the difference). Though in their defense, I may sometimes be inconsiderate to the Bassists there (ie. I sometimes forget to refer to them as "your holiness" and forget to ask permission to post my opinions)... but I really cannot stand any of them enough to actually care.
Anyways...
