My favorite Zeppelin songs strung together rather than putting up 5 songs, it's Ramble On, Bring It On Home, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, The Ocean, and Moby Dick. Enjoy!
The Priestess song Laydown, I know...another damn cover. I just think it's fun to play, you should try it. I will post some originals soon...I promise!
I just sat down and recorded an acoustic track on the fly, I was kinda sad at the time, did a couple lead tracks and a bass track over it. It was all improvised, it's just how I was feeling at that moment, the music says it all...no need for words.
I guess I must have some issues lately, but I'm not really depressed, it's just what comes out. I'm not totally satisfied with the distorted parts, not the perfect tone, but it will do for now. Hope you enjoy!
(to truly enjoy, listen through headphones!)
The classic Black Crows song She Talks to Angels. I just love this song, I tune my acoustic to open E all the time just to play it. I did three tracks, but it sounded plain, so I sang this time. Hope you enjoy it as much as I.
She never mentions the word addiction
In certain company
Yes, she'll tell you she's an orphan
After you meet her family
She paints her eyes as black as night now,
Pulls those shades down tight
Yes, she gives a smile when the pain comes,
The pain gonna make everything alright
Says, she talks to angels,
They call her out by her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels,
Says they call her out by her name
She keeps a lock of hair in her pocket
She wears a cross around her neck
Yes, the hair is from a little boy,
And the cross is someone she has not met, not yet
Says she talks to angels,
Says they all know her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels,
Says they call her out by her name
She don't know no lover,
None that I ever seen,
And to her that ain't nothing
But to me, It means, means everything.
She paints those eyes as black as night now
She pulls those shades down tight
Oh yeah, there a smile when the pain comes,
The pain gonna make everything alright, alright yeah
She talks to angels,
Says they call her out her name
Oh yeah-eah-eah, angels
Call her out by her name
Oh-ooh-oh-oh, angels
They call her out by her name
Oh-oh, She talks to angels
They call her out
Yeah-eah-eah, call her out
Don't you know that they call her out by her name?
